It was a Happy Anniversary
Cary and I shared a wonderful day together. We remenissed about one of the happiest days of our lives. I say "one" of the happiest days of our lives because we plan on having at least two more.
1. The day the DR. pronounces me cancer free.
2. The day I conceive or the day we adopt a child.
Back to today, it was fun going through our wedding pictures. We had such a fun wedding with great friends and family. I remember laughing so much and not wanting the day to end. Then waking up as Mrs. Miller. I felt so blessed to have found my Cary. As Billie Holiday sings our favorite song, "There is no greater love... than what I feel for you."
Cary arrived home early from work bearing 3 dozen roses. He's just the best. I can't imagine life without him.
Then after putting my roses to water I got all dolled up and ready to spend a romantic dinner at a fabulous Italian restaraunt. I hope he had a wonderful time... I know the blonde did. : )

Post a CommentDearest Lori and Cary. Happy Anniversary! I can't help but shed a few tears when I read about this news. You are truely blessed, Lori. From how I see it, you loose your health, but you have a priceless husband. While so many marriages out there fail due to minor problems, yours is a true blue cinderella story. You are truly an inspiration, Lori. I hope that I will be as lucky as you are. *hug*
So very cool! I loved reading that your anniversay was a good time and I love your outlook of looking forward.
By the way, you are an very striking woman, with or without hair. But I think it is two things...yes, your appearance, but also what is shining through from your heart.
Lori
These two posts made me cry. You are both so amazing and I know your love will get you through this. I'm proud to consider you my friend and when you celebrate those two other days I will be there congratulating you both. I often say that you an inspiration to me; one of my dreams is to have the fairytal that you and Cary have; you are so lucky to have found each other. You too are hot; you were on your wedding day and you both are now - I hope you had a wonderful anniversary! ;-) Hang in there and keep fighting.
love to you both. Lisa x
triple ditto!
Okay, misting up here - you two are just so darned sweet! You make a beautiful couple, and whether you conceive or adopt, the baby or babies will be incredibly lucky.
BTW, weird-ish question, but is Cary any relation to the hottie sports announcer on ESPN, Gary Miller? There's a resemblance there, but your Miller's cuter.
Congrats, again. And on a shallow note, you are SO wearing that lipstick, girl!
Joi
