But I am to tired to type
There is so much that I would like to express through words. Quickly I digress. My body is tired, weak, and in so much pain.
Cary, all because of you. You know the rest of the song. There could never be a stronger man in my eyes.
Mom, thank you for being here now more than ever. How did you know? Must be a mothers intuition.
Dana, thank you so much! I received your package the same day as I was making my Target shopping list. Of course, the list consisted of hair removal and hair care products. : )
Sandee, I hated Taxotere! Navelbine has invaded my body with the worst of aches and pains. Never have I experienced such pain with any other chemo before. My Oncologist, pharmacist and myself have finally come to a solution for all the pain. At first I was so afraid. I was literally in tears from the fear of such medicine. Then the pain began to wake me at night in tears. I finally broke and fearfully began to take my methadone and morphine mixture. My body once again adjusts. I can now continue with the Navelbine.
Sandee, please remember that we all respond to the medicine differently. Navelbine might be the one for you. I still must wait, give the therapy time. After speaking to my DR. today it sounds like we may be having CTScans around the same time. After the scan we will then know if Navelbine is right for me.
Wow being so tired when I first started typing. I surprise myself.
Goodnight**

Stopping by to offer healing energy and hugs.
Lori, I think of you so often and wonder how you are doing. I'm glad to see you posting. I'm also glad you have found a way to continue with your chemo. I know that you are going to find the one that will work best for you. I hope and pray this one is it. Hugs and love to you and Cary.

Thand you so much for your input, we learn so much more from other survivors. Had chemo today, blods show that tumor markers are a tad elivated again ... UGH!!! I be back in hospital tomorrow for and endoscopy, Taxotere seems to have damaged my throat & upper digestive track ... that stuff is just brutal. Hope your pain supsides honey, I am beginning Navelbine in May, after scan results, I'll keep you posted on my side-effects. Onc says most people respond quite well on it ... fingers crossed!

Hi Lori!
I apologize for utlizing a blog post to write you a note. I do not have your email and don't know how else to contact you.
I hope you are doing well. I have been reading your blog for over a year now (courtesy of the Yvonne Fong). I, like Yvonne, have NF2 but I am also a fellow cancer survivor.
I am going to participate in my first Relay for Life on May 20th. I would like to include your name and website as one of those who I am walking/running in honor of. I will also post my ACS Relay for Life link on my blog (NF2 Odyssey) at http://diverbeck.blogspot.com/.
Before I do so, I would like to ask your permission. I think you are incredibly admirable for writing of your experience to help others. Your blog is fantastic (as well as Cary's)!
Again I hope you are doing well! You are very brave!
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Rebecca :o)
you haven't updated in awhile!
how are you doing.
Kristi Collins

Hi Lori.
I hope you had a good vacation down in Hawaii! I have not been there yet so you will have to tell us about it. I think we (my husband and I) are going to go there in a year. I wrote you a message but it is on my blog so I will post it for you here:
"Lori,
Don't apologize. I don't have a "stay on topic" rule for my blog and you can post here anytime you like!
Sorry it took so long to post on your blog. I have really enjoyed visiting your blog and Cary's two blogs. You are both inspirtional people!
I am very excited for the Relay for Life event and more than happy to think of you and run/jog/walk in your honor. Thank you so much for allowing me to include you and the link to your blog.
I will keep you updated on the event and I hope that you will be feeling better soon!
Sincerely,
Rebecca :o)"
by the way, my email is bluediverbeckatyahoodotcom
Okay kiddo,
Post something, will ya?! I have grown accustomed to perusing your pics on flickr and reading your insights on this blog--this to no avail of recent. I know, I know, you were Hawaii, soaking up the sun and sand and all that beautiful stuff.
Now, get back to us, will ya? Please... :)
Thinking of you sweetheart!
*hugs*
Hang in there please, although I'm finding it difficult, I am in no way ready to let the dragon win Love you!
Hey are we going to get some pics of you and Cary in Hawaii?
Hope you had a good vacation and are feeling better and more revitalized now.
I am looking forward to hearing about your trip and reading more posts on how you are doing!
- Beck (AKA: Rebecca) :o)
Thanks for letting us know that you are hanging in there. Glad to hear you are surviving. I know how that goes many times over but in a different way than your life experience.
You have not posted lately so I hope you are doing okay.
You may not realize it but you and Cary have been a great inspiration to many people. I admire your honesty and bravery! Thanks for sharing your lives with us.
I have still continue to check in on you both (even though I do not post very often).
Please know that my prayers are with you. What you are doing, who you are, and the lives you touch are important and make a difference.
Lori:
I've been thinking and praying for you and Cary. I hope you are doing better. You are always in my prayers.
I Love you.
