Day 10: Things I'll Never Forget About Lori
Her Incredible Sense Of Humor:Exhibit A
There is no doubt that Lori's incredible sense of humor was one of the first things that really attracted me to her... well, that and the fact that she was drop-dead gorgeous.
Everywhere we went, everything we did together, even slogging it through another round of chemo, Lori never ceased to make me laugh, giggle, or downright roll on the floor.
We poked fun at her doctors, did silly dances, and continually found way to coax humor out of things that others would just find macabre.
We shot this amazing photo at the famous Place of Refuge State Park on Hawaii's Big Island. I think it perfectly captures Lori's unshakable spirit of silliness, and also stands as a good reminder that even a cancer patient can look smokin' hot in a little black dress ;)

Post a CommentLooking through some flickr photos of friends, I found one that Lori had commented on. The photo was a comic strip, altered, to represent his family and their feelings while his father's health was declining. She mentioned how important humor was -- describing and you and she would keep eachother laughing, even using many inside jokes about cancer.
I think good humor is positively correlated with wisdom. You two, as it stands, are off the charts.
She was so beautiful.
Regal, even.
Definitely classy.
I love these memories you share.
Mischevious grin, naturally sexy, gleeful, insightful, thoughtful, wonderful cook, silly, loving, stubborn in the best way, I will never, ever, ever forget that "oh, I've just been caught" look she would get on her face like when I found her at Victoria's Secret shopping for some "dainties" soon after you two professed your love for each other. Love - Kiz
